Everyone knows journalists always exaggerate. Its the bread and butter of journalism, creating and fueling controversies, etc (Take IGNs Skyrim vs Dark Souls post for eg. by Casey Lynch). Not saying the review is wrong, its points may all be relevant. But a game with similar flaws might have scored a 8.5 or a 9.0 elsewhere.
... Or maybe even 10, which makes you wonder: "which reviewers are trustworthy by my standards?". By playing the game myself I can say that I do not trust this guy. Not because I'm a fanboy or whatever, but simply because I do not agree with a single point he made.
This is not good journalism. He is clearly an attention whore. Read his interview. The guy is a jerk.
Sorry I took it that way. I haven't played it, just seen various videos. Whether I plan on playing it or not, well that depends on whether I have the time. And since I don't own a Wii, I'll have to play at my friends. Lots of games out in 2011.. wish I could have played all the good ones. But unfortunately.. I haven't even played Skyrim yet, and won't be able to play it till mid Jan.nmenezes92
