@beckfoloe @otaku_life @Nefercare IMO the only thing WF has over Destiny is melee weapons. If Bungie added swords, daggers, scyths, etc.. as special weapons that would make Destiny instantly better.
Destiny is fun. I didnt go in expecting much. ( I actually took my pre-order off and got D3, but got Destiny for free off my buddy ) It has some VERY annoying flaws though.
1.) Bosses not dropping engrams
2.) Being able to get Legendary and Exotic engrams and not get an item of the same rarity or armor that cant even be used by your class is extremely frustrating.
3.) You aren't rewarded for doing good in Crucible. You can go 0-10000 and still get a Legendary engram
4.) Not being able to do a mission ( weekly, daily, raid, nightfall ) more than once on the same difficulty and still get the specified rewards is also frustrating. Its like Bungie's saying " Well, we want you to grind/farm, but not this way" Not being able to this leads to doing round-a-bout farming runs that usually don't even result in good items. Just glimmer, a ton of uncommons, and crapy rares. Then, you spend all of your money on the Cryptarch to level him up to get Legendary packages, which doesn't guarantee you a legendary anything. I like the story btw.
All in all I think Destiny is fun, especially with friends ( it would be even better if they would fix the above things ) but this is just tiding me over until Forza Horizon 2, NBA, CoD and/or Halo, Dragon Age and whatever other games I decide I want.
Quality was a bad word choice, but I do think the Xbox games pique my interest a bit more than the PS ones. I don't think Deep Down looks very good, I haven't watched much of the order, and Forza over Driveclub. (I like lots of cars). Aside from that Sunset looks incredibly fun, Scalebound already has me hooked, and Phantom dust seems really interesting.
X1 doesn't have as many exclusives as PS4, but the quality of these games are better than the PS4 exclusives. (By no means am I saying the PS4 exclusives are bad.)
