So i have a 6 month old gtx 560 , and while playing games like bf3 it was around 85 degrees with %70 fan speed, and i didnt care.

But playing ghost recon ( which uses gfx card %100 all the time) overheats the card and pc shuts down.

I also think that my 600w OCZ Stealthstream is dying and might be cause of the even higher temps then before. But my question is how can i make my gtx 560 fan go higher than %70?

What brand is your PSU, and how old is it? If its a crappy brand, than it probably can't power your system. If it's old, than it might be crapping out on you.

So i was playing ghost recon today and pc shut off while playing with a weird sound coming from speakers. Then pc didnt start , until i gave it 10 mins. After that i tried playing again and the same result after 5-10 minutes.

A similar thing happened 2 weeks ago , while working with unreal engine 3 suddenly i got "windows 7 is shutting down" message and pc shut down , didnt open until i repluged cables ,when it opened it said "Disable the CPU overlock" (Which was a oc i did to 3.2 from 3.1 6 months ago!!!)

So do you guys thing this is definitely a power supply problem? I switched to 16gb ram from 4gb ram recently maybe 600w isnt enough for 16gb ram , i5 2400 , 1gb gtx 560? Thanks in advance.

[QUOTE="-wildflower-"]On a serious note, have you licensed the Unreal Engine? I'm no expert on such things but I would assume that if you are selling a game, for profit, using the Unreal Engine, Epic's going to want their money. Again, I'm not sure about the legality of it and maybe what you're doing is legal. It was just a question that popped into my mind when I started reading about your game. I'd hate to see you get sued.

Yeah TC. If you haven't done so already, get to reading the UDK Licensing terms ASAP.

If you create a games or commercial applications using UDK for sale or distribution to an end-user or client, or if you are providing services in connection with a UDK based game or application, the per-seat option does not apply. Instead the license terms for this arrangement are US $99 up-front,and a 0% royalty on you or your company's first US$50,000 in UDK related revenue from all your UDK based games or commercial applications, and a 25% royalty on UDK related revenue from all your UDK based games or commercial applications above US$50,000.
UDK License

The rest of the UDK License.

i was going to apply for it if the kickstarter would be succesful but since i havent got anything in 4 days , with no profit i dont want to continue giving away money for this project. ( There is no legal issue since i havent gained anything) Lets say there was $400 accumluated at the site i would immediately apply for it)

as 1 person i am not competing with $60 retail games. If i can be able to finish it will be in the indie part of steam and as you now those game are no more then $10 About third person; since i dont know how to do animations it will remain as first person view for now. If you check out the gameplay video you can walk around the city on foot with first person camera.[QUOTE="skrat_01"]Very nice for two months work, I have to say, but it's a bit rough in some regards. You'll have to remove the licensed products, and add in some basic a.i. or scripts and have some game design fundamentals in. At the moment it's an art demo, a really pretty one at that mind you. Aand man o man rebuild your lighting before making a trailer do promote your project; it's all pretty rough for asking for a price tag. But it's nice to see someone being proactive out there, looks good and has lots of potential - saying that as someone who's a udk developer (level design, kismet scripting, little bit of unrealscript), and currently getting into Unity. Also, getting it onto Steam is extremely difficult. Extremely. I've spoken to quite a few independent developers with excellent games, great PR and critical acclaim, who have had huge trouble getting their games onto Steam. You'll need a nice deal of exposure, and even connections to folks who have partnerships with Valve in getting a bit of a leeway into distributing on Steam. I'd honestly recommend looking at distributing on Desura first and foremost; which is a lot more friendly to small emerging developers.

since the map is huge with lots of detailed i recently managed to build it. ( with deletinng about 30-40 cars + 50 trees) and now i am dealing with weird shadows all over the map . I just wanted to show it to people when i finished the map. i knew it would take long time to built the lighting properly about steam , yes i know its extremely hard , thats why i had high hopes for this kickstarter project. I am aware that they wouldnt accept this with mcdonals burger king ext. all over the place.
