Was taking it back to gamestop for $30. Yeah, I lost some money but was able to put it towards BF4 which is much better than the new direction Ghosts is taking.

In all seriousness, I was a cod fan boy. I bought every title up to ghosts, but this is the first Call of duty game I have ever traded in because it was so poorly done.

The single player has horrible voice overs, copy and paste storyline parts stolen from BO2, and the easiest campaign to beat in any call of duty title.

The multiplayer is worse. It has large maps, and im sure you are saying this is good right? Well you would think with large maps that you wouldn't be spawned right on top of the enemy players right? WRONG. It seems intentional. The game is full of campers/snipers more than any other game in the series. The regular core game itself feels like the previous titles hardcore mode. 1 or two shots and you are dead, which wouldn't be a problem except the spawn locations make sure you are going to die frequently after you kill.

Its time to stop going with the trends and fads, and im no longer preordering these games, and surely wont buy the season pass etc. All those guys that say we need to stop paying into this cash machine are right. If we don't we will keep getting the same game over and over and over.

@Vozlov:

I worked security for ICBM's out west. Its the most boring job in the entire world. Did it for just shy of a decade. If you are interested join the USAF security forces, it essentially military police, the most boring job I have ever had.

Yeah love that horribly written storyline.

The ghosts all get captured at one time or another through the entire game (telling me they are not very elite)

The main antagonist takes a .44 magnum to the chest and not only lives, but escapes drowning and

SPOILER

kicks the crap out of you and drags you off into the sunset. Yeah great job devs. A 5 year old could write a better plot.

So I don't forget, your character Logan, was shot in the chest at point blank range while tied to a chair in Vegas. After Keegan saves all of you, you move around and shoot and scoot like there is no problem.

Didn't they market this game around the Simon "Ghost" Riley character from MW2? You don't play as him, he's not an NPC, he not mentioned, and it appears its a different universe all together. The plot holes are bad in this game. You cant deny it. I had high hope for a fun campaign.

Horrible storyline, huge plot holes, uninteresting characters. Multiplayer is snipers paradise, and respawns are worst in entire series. Im glad this game was so bad in my opinion, it made it easier to not buy another one, and to hold off the XBOX one until I see better games.

Moderate spoilers ahead guys, but nothing that ruins the storyline too much.

SPOILERS AHEAD

I'm concerned at how easy it was for most of the ghost team to be captured over the course of the game. I mean are they not from our tier one community and are supposed to be the tip of the sword? They seem to be very bad at what they do.

1. Logan and Hesh almost get destroyed by wolves when they have automatic weapons. Not a capture, but kind of lame.

2. Ajax is captured by Rorke and executed.

3. Merrick is captured in the jungle escape mission in the riverbed. You immediately rescue him but still.

4. Elias, Logan, Hesh, and Merrick all get captured in Vegas.

5. In the flashback mission, Elias drops Rorke and Rorke, (YOU GUESSED IT) gets captured by the Federation.

Other strange plot holes to me, were the initial capture and use of ODIN against out own nation. I used to work with nuclear weapons for the USAF and we know whenever anything gets launched into the atmosphere globally, because of NORAD.

BIG SPOILER

Also, didn't Rorke get shot almost point blank in the chest with a .44 magnum? I saw blood meaning it made it past whatever body armor and trauma plate he was wearing. It should have instantly killed Rorke, and passed through and killed Hesh, but nooooooo. Rorke has the personal fortitude and the ability to survive a .44 magnum to the upper torso/heart region, not drown, then kick the crap out of Logan and Hesh, then drag a full male adult off into the distance?

Like I said, I used to work with security of nuclear assets, and we wore soft body armor that would stop up to a 357 mag only.
