@scottman256: PS4 or slightly lower is the most likely scenario, given the relevant nVidia hardware available currently and the projected release year (20249.
@robertrulez: GC was 20 years ago. Their strategy hasn't been to have the most powerful hardware longer than most of you here were alive. Switch is also on track to outselling the PS2 - the best selling console of *all time*.
They for sure don't need to listen to or cater to any of you "experts" here, that much is certain.
The Switch is on track to becoming the best selling console of all time. They don't *need* to do anything. Nintendo's strategy has been pretty clear for 20 years now, and it's nothing to do with matching hardware specs of other consoles on the market.
It's actually a bit embarrassing to read/listen to this kind of talk, you really should have a better handle on this industry, in your line of work I mean, yeah?
@LVT_PTA_PB: Stalker will sell on PC, if at all, considering they aren't even the original devs. Maybe if they do a huge marketing push it will move on consoles, but they won't.
@Hondje89: Not entirely true. If they add raytracing, for example, they might choose not to completely disable it in splitscreen due to too large a visual discrepancy between that and single player. So they might just downgrade RT across the board, to retain consistency.
