Hope it's a lot better than season one. The dialogue was so awkward it was cringe-inducing. Hard to tell how much was the writing and how much was the voice acting and direction, but it is in desperate need of a production change.

What a missed opportunity. Instead of a fox, the main character should have been a lynx.

"Odyssey will be taking players back to ancient Greece, specifically to the middle of the Peloponnesian War around 431 BC. This places the game about 350 years after Bayek and Aya's adventure during the events of Origins."

Nope. Key word here is "BC". 431 BC is about 350 years before Origins and Cleopatra and Ceasar, which take place in the first century BC.

So, we're getting a game about Assassins before the original Assassins originated Assassination. Which works, how exactly?

Part of me hopes that this game will actually depart from the stealth and parkour gameplay in favor of more strategic combat, battles, and warfare, but that seems unlikely.

@sinister1989: We know Thanos gets the Orb/Power Stone from Xandar first, then the Tesseract/Space Stone second, based on the trailer. The entire reason he shows up to attack the Asgard ark at the end of Ragnarok is probably to get the Space Stone, which Loki will probably give up as a bargaining chip to try to get Thanos to spare their lives. Cowardly, perhaps, but I doubt they would try to make Loki a villain again when they've put so much effort into rehabilitating him in Thors 2 and 3. Then, Thanos heads to the Collector's museum to try to get the Aether/Reality Stone. He doesn't seem to have it when he heads to Earth for the last three, so the Guardians probably manage to steal that one first. We see him attack the Avengers, because Vision has the Mind Stone, and attack New York since Doctor Strange's sanctum and the Time Stone are there. And since there's a battle in Wakanda, it would seem the Soul Stone must be there.

@drnknnmd: Well, obviously keep the likes of Joel Schumacher and Akiva Goldsman (or their modern day equivalents, Michael Bay and Orci and Kurtzman) far, far away from it. Oh, wait. Too late for that. Abrams already got his mitts on it.

@pelvist: It's kind of like a cyberpunk Game of Thrones, but with a tighter and more coherent narrative.

@jknight5422: Blasphemy! Next you'll suggest they find somebody else to play James Bond. Or Doctor Who. Or Batman. Just can't be done. It'll never ever work.

"The God Particle" is a really great real-science book. "The God Particle / Cloverfield whatever" is magical sci-fi without a lick of science or reason to back it up. It's also a lame, boring story, incredibly derivative of much better films, and on the whole very cheaply and sloppily produced. This wouldn't even make for a decent episode of The Outer Limits, let alone a feature film.

@nabinator: Yeah. He clearly overestimated the intelligence of the average American movie-goer. Don't worry, though, I'm sure the next Transformers abomination will be more up their alley.

Clearly the best Star Wars since Empire. Only Rogue One gives it any competition.
