Id like to remain hopeful, cause this game was one of the reason behind my decision of getting a PS3, but Im also doubtful we'll get a happy ending after all this tiem has passed...

Rhode Island didnt seek 38 Studios to invest in games, it was 38 Studios management who took advantage of said RI "relocation loans", cause they were desperate for money, oblivious of everything but matching some Shilling's fantasy of becoming the next Bill Gates with his FIRST game.
The rest is history... And I see nobody with your views takes account for the workers and their families that were lied to their face by Schilling and even lost their homes... Rhode Island didnt have anithing to do with that, it was all Schilling's crazy spending, FROM THE START...
@smtgfx Well, as a matter of fact they have been known to fack things up right at the start of things... I remember when they lost their forums just at Witcher 2 launch, and took them like a month and a half to repost one. It was dreadfull... :P
"Negotianting deals" are different skills from creative skills. How about those hundreds of really good movie directors that got screwd by Hollywood. If you got "some" business skills, of course it helps, but I wouldnt mix both treats. They are different.
And Im preetty tired of this Jaffe dude and his backand comments about everything, ALWAYS commenting about EVERYTHING IN THE GAMING INDUSTRY, with his narrow experience at SONY as sole reference...

I would assume it's not that easy to change jobs, but if I were an EA employee, I would give it a try, and find another company... One that doesnt treat me like garbage, you know.
Yeah... Meanwhile, Riccitello, who admitedly was the ONE responsible for making unsound decisions which cost EA sooo much money over the years, "retired" with a cash bonus of millions...
It's good to see the gaming industry is such a fair enterprise...
