Well that may be because you are a good boy that is mature enough to handle those games (I hope so at least). His parents may think otherwise for him. There's good parenting and bad parenting, his are doing what they feel is right. Yours hopefully did the same.

But hes made it clear that normaly his parents are ok with it so they must of seen some bad press and are only thinking of that which seems a little unfair.

But it all goes back to the simple fact that they feel that this game is too mature for him, plain and simple. Again, he should be greatful what he has been allowed to watch/play. There's nothing unfair with that. That's what drives me nuts about kids. I've been in your shoes and only now do I understand the perspective of an adult/parent. You guys get an inch you feel you deserve a mile. There are plenty of other great games out there that he is still allowed to play. It's not gonna kill him if he has to wait for another 7-8 months.
