Religion as part of a game's mythology is fine, but I don't think the literal religious practices should be in games unless it is for some cinematic purpose (i.e. you're playing Assassin's Creed and you need to assassinate a priest or something, I don't know).

If you want to celebrate a religious holiday, go to your mosque/temple/church/etc. for that. Celebrate with your friends and family. There are plenty of places and people and occasions to do so.

As for comparisons to Christmas, is that what you actually want Ramadan to be like? A commercially-exploited holiday used to sell junk? I think Muslims are better off without the attention and exploitation that comes with recognition. I'm not religious at all and the way Christmas is exploited is gross to me.

That's what they are doing. The Wii U and virtual console were disliked for many, perfectly valid reasons and not one of them was because they let people play older games. It was the console itself, lack of games, and performance of the virtual console.

Nintendo needs to have an affordable, quality alternative on the Switch and any future consoles or accept people are going to use ROMs and emulators. Which is a slippery slope that leads to a lot of people emulating current games they might have otherwise purchased.
