a large portion of the GS community here like to cherry coat piracy and have the delusion of believing that piracy does not hurt pc gaming and make excuses for why ppl pirate its quite sad rly.
Congratulations for not reading anybody's posts. Nobody here has said that Piracy doesn't harm PC gaming, only that it's not as bad as everyone claims. And hell, Piracy hurts console gaming just as much, the only difference is that Console piracy isn't publicised as much. And Dnuggs, I'm trying to find links now xD I'm fairly sure Ubisoft and Crytek have both said it, and I know for a fact that the people who made WoG did.
do they pirate console i thought you would have to open your montherboard and change it around so it can be pirtated thats what i heard i could be wrong
well everyone is looking to save a buck these days too.... but im also wondering on how people are willing to pay for a game.... my top dollar is 80bucks no more then that... and the only way i will pay that much if i can try a demo... cuz i have bought games for 50 bucks and they are worth at least 20... but then how to you caculate what people value in a game
yeh and they went nutz with spore trying to protect it and it was soo anoying wheni bought it grrrrr. but i don't blame em... but then yet again they went to all these measures to protect that game and it was the number 1 pirated game of 2008 so yeh whatever they throw at the pirates they crack the game anyways. i think it will be a on going war. but hopfully pc remains surpreme.
