[QUOTE="Nocturnal15"][QUOTE="ngboy"]it's sad how every body freaks out when live is down for a couple days. live for the most part is readily available. if you're pissed that you can't play a game online for a few days a YEAR, then there is something seriously wrong with your life. 95% of the time, live works perfectly. go out and see a movie or something.KingDridge
Thank you. At least someone is sensible.
why dont you people want free stuff.
Lets put it this way!
Lets say.. Your bank is down for two whole days
and you cant get ANYYYYYYYY money out
You would not be happy right? Because thats your money(just like your money is in xbox live)
and you would prolly expect some kinda SOMETHING back from that bank.
almost every game that comes out has a microsoft free 48 hour trial for xbox live. i have 5 of these sitting at home. that more than makes up for the off time that literally is costing me pennies of the $50 one year membership.
i don't think we should pay for it because we have to pay for all the microsoft points to buy everything.Assassin_651
you clearly don't know how live works then. you're not paying for the content, you're paying for the service. the money you use to buy the microsoft points to get your content doesn't go to microsoft, but the people who make the content.
to the poster who said that they have connection problems ALL THE TIME:
i'm thinking maybe it's a problem with your network and not the actual problem of live. i've rarely ever gotten a laggy connection when playing online (rainbow six, gears of war, halo3, nhl 09, bad company, call of duty, just to name a few) maybe 1 game out of every 7-10 games i join have a lag problem but i just leave those games and the next one i join is usually fine.
the question of whether or not we should be paying for this service really depends on the actual gamer and what they're looking for out of the service. if you're playing online a lot or even moderately, then i'm sure you'll get your money's worth. if you're more about the single player experience, then maybe live isn't for you.
personally i don't mind the 5 bucks a month. it would be nice if we got the same service for free, but the cost we do pay isn't exactly breaking the bank either.
No, I beat it on Hard, Medium, and Easy. I do most of my playing in co-op at my buddy's house. And I'll be honest, There are a couple songs I can't beat on expert, but I'd be willing to bet that I'm better than you at the game.Deominator
really? man that's so awesome.. oh wait, no one here cares.
