Get her a gift card to victoria's secret Bucked20
this, do this.

the only downside of this is that it takes them a long ass f*cking time to pick what they want. and no matter how many times you tell them they look great, they'll still try on something else

This really is a tragedy, but I can't help but blame the kid. When you aggresively make an action with a gun toward police things aren't going to end well. However, I certainly think the police could have handled it better.

jointed

Handled it better?? The sniper along with whoever gave the order should be prosecuted...

The redneck police department probably had nothing better to do that day. Which explains why they brought an armoured vehicle to battle a teenager with a gun. Fire the entire department and replace it with people that aren't products of incest..

i live near the area in the article. not too redneck over there. doubt there's much (if any) incest either. thanks for participating though. better luck next year

i don't know anyone that calls a girl a slut just for having sex with someone she's not in a relationship with. however, if the girl is having sex with the whole school, or workplace, or whatever, that may be grounds for calling her a slut.

[QUOTE="Abbeten"] There are things that one can do to minimize the risk of bad things being done to them, sure. But that doesn't mean that they are at fault for bad things happening. To place any blame whatsoever on the woman in that situation is misguided. Saying to women "hey, don't got to a party and get drunk. Because even if that sounds fun, there's a chance you'll get raped and then the fault will lie at least partially with you" is stupid. Abbeten

or just don't get plastered around people who you don't know if they're trustworthy or not?

because even this is offering the slightest bit of leniency to the rapist.

i'm just saying that there are ways to avoid being victimized, and it doesn't look like the girl in the article did anything to avoid it.

44 hours. 38 of those were at work and on the clock. We were transitioning an entire building from a token ring network to a switched ethernet network. We had the weekend to get it done, and we did.

sounds like it sucked, but i bet the fat paycheck you [probably] received felt good

[QUOTE="Abbeten"] No. She's not. At all. The act of rape was entirely the choice of the man, and the fault and blame lies solely with him.Abbeten

i'm not trying to make the rapist be any less at fault, but there's certain things a person can do to avoid being the victim of a crime. a girl getting too drunk and passing out at a party is a good way to get yourself victimized. there's other ways, too. if i'm lost in a high-crime area of downtown Atlanta at 2am, i'm probably not going to go up to a group of people on the street and ask them for help, because there's a chance they could steal all my stuff, and/or beat the sh*t out of me

[QUOTE="Abbeten"] Victim blaming is victim blaming. Abbeten

so if a girl gets too drunk at a party and passes out and a guy ends up raping her, she's not partially to blame? the guy shouldn't have raped her, but if a girl passes out at a party, that's active victim precipitation. she didn't directly cause herself to get raped, but had she not gotten so drunk that she passed out, chances are she wouldn't have gotten raped.

same thing with the girl in the article. had she not had sex with 4 guys at the same time, she probably wouldn't have been bullied.
