@PredatorRules: I plan to get another GPU later down the line since I can't afford more than around $1600. Any suggestions for the motherboard? I've been told that 1600MHz RAM would be fine and 1866MHz wouldn't be noticeable. Are you saying 1600MHz is too much or too little?

I'm generally a very paranoid person, and liquid near computer parts is a bit of a stretch to me.

My build is complete sans choosing a cooler: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2sVv4

I'm still willing to try liquid cooling if the part is reliable. I was wondering if the cooler listed is a solid one, or if I could just get a much better air cooler instead?

@mastershake575: I made a few changes based on some suggestions I got from other boards and friends and such.

Hello Gamespot community! I'm a first time builder and I am looking for critique on this build.

I wanted to also clarify that I am choosing GTX 660 Ti for 2-Way SLI. I hear it's better performance-wise versus a single GTX 770. They are open-box, and I plan to RMA them if they are dead on arrival.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated! All critique is welcome. I never built a PC before, so I don't want to screw up by buying garbage parts.

@christianrho: Yes I have used it. I have used both next-gen controllers. It's crampy and less comfortable. I just did not enjoy it. Playing Killer Instinct for a certain amount of time with the controller was not fun. The game kept me going, but the controller made me want to just stop playing. It's the same reason my PS3 controller was neglected. Crampy. Although still not as crampy as the One controller. The 360 controller is one of the best and is insanely comfortable. The PS4 controller comes really close. You can tell they improved on the past design. The One controller isn't good. I honestly wish they just kept the same design.

A friend of mine owns both, and from personal opinion, I like the feel of the PS4 better. The Xbox One interface is very dumbed down from the 360's and I loved the 360's interface. The Xbox One controller is also less comfortable than the PS4 and Xbox 360 controller. It's like they took everything that was great about the 360 and made it bad.

I've been an Xbox 360 owner for a while (no fanboyism, I just bought because it was cheaper at the time and I was strapped for cash), but I currently would like some perspective. I want to get a Sony console. I am a huge fan of both the Persona and The Witcher series. My question is, should I get a PS3, with it's current backlog of great games I can play, and have the console for the Persona 5 release, probably sometime early 2015? Or should I get a PS4, which is getting some great games soon, but 90% of the ones I am interested in are coming to the past gen, besides the Witcher 3?
