What if MS had a mandatory ad spot each time you load a game, right after the publisher and developer credits? Not sure I could buy the pre-cutscene thing, but the above, I'd believe. Scary, I know.

A change to WHAT, precisely, are you looking for? The kind where Square Enix is turning Final Fantasy into a real time action game? Or would you like to see Pokemon: First person shooter edition? Yes, I am sarcastic and grumpy, but "change" in this industry so often really means homogenization into a different genre that it tends to make me very leery.

Now, if you are implying something more along the lines of what was shown in the Pokemon X / Y trailer, then yes, I'll agree with you. Changes that enhance what a series is have the potential to be a good thing. What I Don't like seeing is, essentially, a new Franchise being created and taking an existing franchise's name.
