So, let me get this straight... Shadow of destiny + Tales series?
From the trailer, it looks like a girl is about to get married, but her husband gets murdered instead. As a result, she develops a split personality (that's blonde? o_O) and goes back in time to save him... by fighting bear monsters and other neer-do-wells. Also, he's a dragon now.
The scene where she got stabbed (I...think?) by the girl makes me feel like the original scene might keep getting altered as she changes stuff, and you have to keep stopping it ... in a loop like a certain anime I won't spoil or SoD. This. looks. AWESOME!
That's great, but... It's too late for me. This game has gotten old.
They need an expansion pack that adds more personality to it or something. I liked when it was more of a hilarious parody of life; not a reminder that it's boring and monotonous.
What? Just scripted decision-making and therefore not artificial intelligence? What? Stick with me guys, this might sound crazy, but - ... artificial. Fake, right? Not just intelligence? As in the scripting put into it whether it's so the npc will react to a loud noise nearby or put together that you're behind that barrel over there with your bigarsed head poking out, it's fake intelligence. Artificial. AI. I think some of you are forgetting the A... It wouldn't be something that just does stuff on it's own or else it'd be its own being...
