I play them in multiplayer. Fifa, NBA, NHL, the various tennis games, even the Mario/Sonic at the Olympics. Don't laugh, but sports games are as good as the traditional party games when played with a group of people.

Apart from the officially licensed games, I'll even go for the goofy mascot sports games; the ones with Mario or Sonic playing their respective friends with exaggerated physics.

Then there's the Wii/Wii U motion control sports games. Wii Sports bowling is ALWAYS fun.

Forgot about that one. I was also thinking of the female protagonist from Perfect Dark.

I swear the 6th generation of video games (and the concurrent PC stuff) was my all-time favorite. The market was large enough, the graphics were advanced enough to show good detail, yet the budgets still hadn't become obscene. There was more variety, and the developers took more chances.

You can't lose something you outright own. If working conditions go to hell, or if Sony decides to axe employees, there could be an exodus of talent.

Sony's current financial straits have led it to sell assets and ditch expensive studios elsewhere. Hopefully Naughty Dog continues to be a standout performer. Their products really do stand out.

Oh Geesh does it really matter? I'm also fine with playing as a minority--any type of minority. There are enough blandly handsome Nathan Drakes already.

The Order 1886. It's like the best, most realistic looking turd ever. And I'm not saying this to be mean. The game is actually emblematic of EVERYTHING wrong with video games today. All that money and effort poured into hyper realistic graphics, and it's still short, laden with Quick Time Events, and is filled with boring cut scenes.

^PS Now doesn't offer the full library of PS3 games. It also offers much lower resolution and an annoying input lag. All these sacrifices for a premium monthly subscription.

Get a used PS3 and a batch of the games you want. It's cheaper and you'll play the games you want to play, and you'll have better resolution and lag free controls.

Wii U.

Cheaper, no paid online, much less nickel 'n diming DLC. If you already have an Xbox1, the PS4's games aren't really so different as of now. The Wii U has those Nintendo exclusives, whereas with the PS4, you get TLOU Remastered, Driveclub, Bloodborne, Knack, and The Order 1886. TLOU is the same thing on PS3. Driveclub is kinda mediocre and not nearly as good as Forza, The Order is flat out bad, Knack <<<<<<< SM3DW. Bloodbore is the only one that stands out.

It could change later on, but for the next few years, a Wii U would be a better complementary system to what you already have.

Only PS3 games, and only a selection of them. If/When it actually works properly, and if Sony's pricing is reasonable, I would jump at it.

It's good, even great, in theory, but it's not working right now.

I have a Samsung TV, and I also have to pay extortionate prices for good internet. I tried the PS app on my TV a month ago. Didn't work properly. Just like PS Now didn't work properly with my PS4.

Until the technology starts to work the way it was intended, video game streaming will suck. Thus you'll still complain about purchasing new consoles and physical games/digital downloads, but there's no practical alternative.
