@BlackSheepWalls The Wii is less powerful than the PS3 and 360 by far and yet it continues to lead this generation of the console wars. Why you elitist pricks are so hateful is beyond me.

@obsequies What makes you say that? I'm 36 and have been seriously considering getting one. I grew up with Mario and the other IPs and they're still fun as hell. Seriously, how do you come to these conclusions? Did you just hear someone else refer to Nintendo IPs as "kiddy" and immediately think that was the cool way to think or something? What exactly is more "real" about the Vita than the 3DS? I don't get it...

@obsequies It'd probably be a good idea to stop relating any Nintendo product with immaturity as well. I have no idea why Sony fans continue to do this but it makes us look like complete asshats. I'd personally love to see some "immature" titles on the Vita. They're generally well-developed games with broad appeal.

As for Uncharted, the team the IP was basically farmed out for the development of the Vita title. It's boring, cliche and doesn't come close to providing the experience you see in the PS3 titles. Twisted Metal would be great. But really it's going to take the same sort of support the 3DS is seeing to make this thing worth buying. I personally think it's a great console. It was just marketed very poorly and there was zero foresight into post-launch endeavors. They learned nothing from Nintendo's crappy launch and basically achieved even lesser success as a result.

You can't market a system with sackboy and Uncharted titles (bad ones) alone. It's not just the lack of third party support, the first party titles suck too. Combination of not enough and poor software.

@bubba_1988 Both the 350 and PS3 were released the same year they were revealed. So how do you like them apples?

You people are so presumptuous when it comes to gaming. What makes you think that "everyone has already played it?" I haven't. I know tons of people who haven't tbh. If you didn't own a PS3 or 360 and are thinking about picking up a Wii U, it's going to be a great title to have. Sorry but just because you have copious amounts of time and money to play every game ever released doesn't mean that everyone else does as well. BTW, I haven't played Batman: Arkham City either so that's a huge selling point for the console on release. Ports of great games are better than crap launch titles and/or a relatively non-existent line-up the first year of a console's lifespan...kind of like how the 360 and PS3 started out.

The game isn't about raiding anymore. I approve of this.

People like new things. Sony and Microsoft don't realize that, they just beef up hardware with every console iteration and pray that devs will have sufficient photo-realistic abilities to make a better version of Call of Duty and Halo. Oh, and then they'll take everything that Nintendo did with their latest console version and claim it as their own. Kinect anyone? Playstation Move? Gimmicks?

Why do people always come at Nintendo with the "gimmicky" argument? It seems like everything they do is considered a gimmick when it's first released and then industry standard within 5 years. Without the Wii, you people wouldn't have your precious Kinects or Playstation Moves. Or vibrating controllers. Or alternative mobile gaming devices. Every next gen console is going to have tablet interfacing to some degree. Microsoft and Sony just won't have theirs until 2016. And then it will be praised as "genius". Hilarious.
