So I was waiting for the new DSi XL, but recently read the news about the next successor to the DS and how it's going to be released soon (late 2010, early 2011 maybe?). Since I don't have any kind of DS, do you think I should wait for this new DS successor to come out, or just go with the DSi XL?

Nintendo said they wanted to release both at same time, but couldn't, to give consumers more options

if anything they'll discontinue the DS lite since its selling less then DSi

BTW, in JP the DSi and DSi XL are both selling 8x what DS lite sells(like 50k a week for each!)

Nintendo now makes so little D.S. Lites they might as well be discontinued

Think about other produts that they made a new one of ex. iPod origanals and all the other iPods, Flip Ultra serise 1 and Flip Ultra serise 2, ect.

All the 1st ones went down in price.
