Maybe it's just me but i couldn't play bf3 beta. Graphically stunning, and really realistic, guns feels amazing but...realistic to the point where it's not even ludic and entertaining. I couldn't see enemies. I couldn't understand the game mechanic it was just run and be shot by someone. I made some kills but it was...not entertaining. Where are enemies name plates? I have a moderate experience in fps but never played a Battlefield game before. I can't even distinguish enemies from my mates. Maybe I didn't set it right? any help? Or is the game just like this?

thank you guys, yeah I always watch reviews on gamespot and ign, i just wanted an advice directly from fellow gamers. I think I will give outland a try, I was intrigued from the visuals and it was reviewed pretty well. Limbo seems nice but I read it's really short and it costs 13 €, maybe with a price drop in the future.

cheers!

Hello, I have 11€ to spend on the psn and wanted to buy a game. What do you guys suggest? I find the whole thing pretty confusing, there should be a sort of chart, with descriptions, previews and user reviews, stuff like that. I was tempted by Outland. Is that any good?

Cheers

I've been of the opinion that charging the consumer for the pass is misplaced. They should be charging the company that re-sells the software. They're the ones (if any) who are "cutting into" the dev's pocket. We as buyers have a choice as to whom we purchase from, but we don't make any money on the exchange. The resale companies do. I think the devs should at least refocus the charge on who's profitting. Stuf that's sold in online auction becomes a different story, but if you buy from GameStop, etc, THEY are the ones who should take the hit. Not the consumer.

I agree, but as I wrote before, places like Gamestop exists because people buy games there. So in the end, it's our fault. I'm not saying it's our fault when we try to spare some money with used games, but it's our fault when we see that Gamestop is charging us 55$/€ for an used game when is 59 NEW and we still buy the game used!
This is the era of troubles for those who are producing entertainment and art. Videogames, music, movies. People just download everything, and now this.

It's one of the best experiences I had (gaming wise ofc). The sountrack, the graphics and the atmosphere, the story....just plain beautiful.

to be honest it would be good if people would actuyally talk, in the european version it's full of people using presetted emotes and phrases. Boring...and the content is not that clever, I love the ps3, but not home. They should revamp it.

I don't know if I like the online pass...I'm sure of what I hate though: Going to gamestop and see that an used version of a game costs 5€ less than the new version. That really pisses me off, because that's what I call a "legalized fraud". I still can't understand why a place like gamestop can actually exist and I still can't see how people accept to buy THOSE used games. Having a second hand version (or maybe even third hard) to spare what? 3 or 5 euros? Would you give that amount of money to a private user selling his used games? I bet you wouldn't. I'm gonna buy the new copy and a big middle finger goes to those gamestop thieves.

The online pass is just something I will like because it's an enemy of someone trying to rob me.

27 here. Got my ps3 2.5 years ago. Gaming is not a matter of age. I grew up with videogames and the fact that I will keep on playing videogames until I will be 80 (if i live that long) is totally normal in my mind.
