I tried the beta, and to be honest i thought it was unplayable. Maybe it's just me I don't know....but I did find it confusing. Graphically stunning but so hard. You don't see enemy name plates, you don't see the difference between a mate and an enemy, you start the game and die from a bullet and you don't know who shoot to you. Guns feels amazing, so realistic, but maybe it's not ludic enough to entertain people :) Just my two cents.

This is why Blizzard rocks. With artistic value in character design, art direction and animations they can make a game look fantastic without the need of a powerhouse. This will lead to a wider user base, smart. Everybody is asking why wow is the most played mmorpg today even if it has outdated graphics, easy answer, it runs on every machine you can think of. Try to run rift on a pentium 4, good luck. And still, rift looks pathetic. When you rock, you rock. Go Blizzard!

If that would have happened one year ago it would have been like: "Sony and PS3 sucks! they are loosing bla bla and they are not like microsoft that rocks because bla and halo bla and fable blaaaaa bla bla bla". Today, when we see sony doing good and microsoft not so good it's like: "Hey I love my xbox bla, why do you hate microsoft bla bla they made only kinfail games but they are not supposed to be a leading company anyway bla bla" Haters went harsh with sony when ps3 wasn't in good shape, now it's just reversed, it's just coming back, you can't complain. I hate system wars and haters, but I love justice and balance, so all I say: This time, microsoft failed, take it and go home, and shut up :)

My thoughts for the companies in game are: Nintendo: They will carry on with their philosophy, alternative gameplay, innovation. 3DS was somewhat really hyped but didn't match up the expectations. They need a new non-handeld console and they need to work more on non-casual-party games. Microsoft: Kinect is really ahead of its time, it wasn't necessary and what can you use it for? Fail. Xbox made really good in the beginning but it's somewhat flat in the latest years. I don't really care what they do since I don't like their philosophy, but I guess they will implement the kinect more into games. Sony: they have the best selection of exclusives. I personally choose to buy a ps3 over the 360 for the games and how complete and well built was the ps3 compared to the others. They faced a bit problem lately but the welcome back program was adeguate. What I think about the move? unnecessary like the kinect but at least you can use it with games. The NGP will be great, it has power, graphics, innovation.

It's funny how to see how people still bother with "at this angle, if i zoom a lot on the wall, i can see a bit of blur in the ps3 textures, while xbox maintain it sharp". This is, honestly, BULLS**T. Frome these images i see only one thing. Expecially on the batman ones, ps3 give much higher contrast and overal quality of the image, xbox has unrealistic lightning maybe sharper textures, whoa, what a difference. Gamespot, your shipment of failure has been delivered with this article.

Makes me laugh when most people says "xbox brings out more textures" where it is actually clear that they are identical. Xbox as always has more contrast, simply because ps3 system lets you set these details on your own and comparisons are always made without touching any setting. Just please look at the real differences, for example: xbox version hides other characters in smoke, while ps3 and pc show them. Xbox has less objects on the ground and crappy foliage. I don't care about comparisons and console war but I hate when people use pointless details to declare their console is the best.

@AngelCage-2 Well...to be honest this is not the first multiplat game looking better on ps3. Through a lot of comparisons I noticed Prototype looks a lot better on ps3, deadspace had little better textures / detail on ps3. I'm sure there are a lot of games that looks the same on both consoles, and a few that looks better on 360 (ghostbusters, resident evil 5, etc). Every console has its own pro and cons, even on the game side.
