@nbf4548 Read my comment a few before you and I explain a bit about the basics. You can get into the game with a ship and game access for as little as $40. The multi-crew ships like the Constellation and others are expensive yes but you could split it with 2 of your friends and they all get to play in your ship as different crewmen simultaneously once the patch for multi-crew dog fighting is releases in a couple months. Keep in mind you are backing a fully publicly funded game and actually have a voice in this. Not just some EA garbage where you get what you get. Just go to robertsspaceindustries.com and check out your options im sure you"ll find something on your budget.

First of all its not a game with a release date. Its a roll out of playable pieces with an ever expanding universe. Secondly there will always be "concept" going on because of the immense scope of the most ambitious open world gaming project in history so you have to forget everything you know about typical game releases. If you took the time to go to the RSI website and do a little research you will find all the answers you could ever want and then some. Planetary exploration will not be in the first few roll outs but has been talked about on several occasions.. Think about how much money it costs a Dev like EA to make one explorable planet then you have Star Citizen that will have hundreds of planets. To make them all open world explorable would costs a developer hundreds of millions of dollars and who knows how many programers YEARS! Some of the ships are expensive, some are not. But you aren't just buying a ship to get started you are getting game access. I have spent under $80 and considering most new releases are $60 for a much smaller experience in the end I feels its a good buy. To each their own.. Im not writing this to poke at yall that just type crap for the sake of it im just clearing things up.

Holly sh*t people its in early beta and its zero gravity space flight! Of course you can turn on a dime! I unlike most of you am actually a backer and have played it extensively. Its as close to REAL space sim as you can get for a beta. And when the game goes fully live you will all be drooling over it and wish you would have been involved from the get go.

@jimjayjenkins Oh what a young whipper snapper you are.. lol.. Planetside 1 was revolutionary. There may never have been a Halo without it. Do a little research young Jedi.
