Hi all, I'n new to the AC world, just bought AC 1, 2 and 3 last night. I've read that there is a pretty substantial patch out already for AC 3. My question is were there any such patches for AC 1 or AC 2? What is the consensous as to wether or not I should bother installing them? (I'm going to do the AC 3 one.)

Every time I go into the System/System Information menu formy 40 GB PS3 it tells me I have 12 GB of free space no matter what changes I have made with respect to adding or deleting data. The most recent example was deleting 19 GB worth of NHL 10 game data and showing 12 GB free both before and after.

I'm on recent firmware, upgraded to 3.24(?) on September 7 2010. Am I missing something?

The 40 GB model may not be available brand new any more. I have one and it's served me well but I only use it for gaming. Also I favor sports games which tend not to use a lot of disk space compared to some other genres.

As far as recommending a game purchase we really don't know enough about your preferences to do so. Personally I would recommend MLB09 The Show, but I'm a jock. :-)

So I was charging my controller and forgot about it; therefore I left my system on for about 24 hrs. While I'm sure this duration is not unheard of I was wondering if the 'wear and tear' on my system was mitigated since I wasn't actually using it for anything else. There was no game disc in it at the time.
