couple of Q's 1)how do we get the new game ninja one (follwowed a new game but nothing) 2) how long do the follow and fb likes take to turn up 3) what do we do about MS, if firefox is the only browser that will even attempt to play it (gamespot not showing up properly in IE 9 and chrome)

you cant judge the ps3, when its not even being tested to its full capability of 1080p, plus additionally multiplats will always make that little bit extra effort for microsoft over sony, and thats where the exclusives win, i know its hard to compare exclusives, but what has microsoft got to compete with killzone 2 and uncharted 2?

we would have totally had that if we k-rudd gave us our super internet now

when used correctly and properly, DRM can work but other times it literally ruins the game. if i can recall wasnt there a game before where the developers/publisher actually linked a fix to the game on a illegal torrent site? plus with some DRM, what happens if you are putting the game on a computer with no net, how are they supposed to play?

give australia R18+ classification and make all consoles region free, then the market can be more competitive which means cheaper games, which could slow piracy down. people making backups= now can afford to buy more copies people who purcahse overseas= wont need to worry about it not working and therefore pirates are singled out so modification chips wont have an excuse. But removing region locks removes the chances of people bypassing the copyright protection right?

imo prices in australia are a pain but we cant really do anything about it, companies will still make us pay the same amount since we are all willing to pay it. i think one possible way to combat it is to follow sony's path, and put games onto media too large for normal commercial discs and remove region locks. but eventually there will be still people who could find away to bypass the copyright protection on the disc and put it onto HDD which then maybe mandatory software updates on discs should occur? As long as we are working to stop it, they are always working away around it. So all i can think of at the moment is to reduce costs + have R18+ classification, not a definite solution but it could slow it down a bit at least

i think australia is now seriously behind the rest of the developed world in everything, internet not as flash, games are ridiculous and no R18+ game rating whats next? Sooner or later the whole game market will be about importing so microsoft and nintendo better get rid of region locks otherwise sales will slump. Like EA for example, $120 for rock band game disc, and about $280 for one mic, one guitar and a drum set here in Aus, but you could import a ps3 copy for maybe less than the disc itself. I really think we need to have a consumer watchdog on enterainment, its just out of control now

With our third batch of games, the two machines seem evenly matched. The two trade blows on various games, each with its own set of advantages. if you read it carefully they even say they about the same

@ grandtheftauto4 they did do a comparison http://au.gamespot.com/features/6171831/index.html also i think they are pretty much the same, even though im more off a fan of sony. maybe microsoft payed a bit extra to gain a lead on sony since they are a big company. lol maybe it isnt true, but i still think each console has its own advantages

i wonder if all PAL gamers boycott buying the controller and see if sony will bring the price down. ebay will seem very busy until that time comes
