Take Guild Wars 2. They want you to buy their game so you can take part in the beta testing. They have not even set a release date yet. If things go wrong, or they get into finacial trouble the game could be cancelled, and you would be left with nothing for the money you have paid.
This is the way the games industry is heading. We really need to band together and stop them.
@UniqueName2 I'm sorry m8 I disagree completely. Look at their other games. They have so much experience from other online games, there should be virtually no isses. Yes things can break down, but all these game issues should not be there.
Yes you can expect one or two small issue. But the game crashing because you equip a character with a shield? That is so wrong. How on earth did that get past the testing stage?
@Eraldus This how Dialbo was played. This is how Dialbo 2 was played, and the expansion pack too. They have stayed true to the original concept of the game. The gameplay is the most important part of a game.
All the characterisation is just crap. People are more concerned that it should be pretty rather than be a good game.
It is just a way for the makers to make the game longer. Hey! Our new games has 50 hours of game play. But this game play include 30 hours of making your character look pretty.
The original text based games left all the character styling to your imagination.
@Dovahkiinknight mmm yes. but then again your concentration camps were called reservations....and I'm sure if they had thought that they could have got away with it they would have become exrermination camps...look at your own history before you make before you make idiotic comments..
