@turbojugend16: BS.. Witcher 3 was open-world RPG game that was in the best state from the start compared to other this types of games.. every Bethesda game and most of Obsidian games have way, way more bugs - what worse, those games have even game-breaking bugs
@Berserk8989: TW1 is a fantastic game.. just because it's a PCRPG and has different combat system than most RPGs out there with their hack'n'slash, it doesn't mean it's a bad or a average game.. atmosphere and music are better than those in TW2 or TW3.. + politics in TW1 are far more interesting and complex than those in TW3 and the main antagonist in TW1 is way, way more interesting and better written than Eredin in TW3
@cornbredx: Right, just like the Japanese original first movie.. what a bummer, right? .. the problem wasn't the screentime of Godzilla, the problem were the human characters - they were boring, generic.. but the action, cinematography, CGI, Godzilla herself, atmosphere, etc. were great.. the first Godzilla movie from 1954 is the best in the whole series of Godzilla movies, and in that Godzilla is even less than in the last American version, but that movie also has interesting human characters, so that's why it's the best Godzilla movie
@texasgoldrush: The problem is that TW3 should stand as a standalone product - does it in the case of the Wild Hunt and Eredin? No.. for the majority of players TW3 is the first game in the series that they play.. and for them WH and Eredin aren't represented as a majoy and interesting tread for Geralt and Ciri.. I know everything about all them because after playing TW1 and reading all of the books (short stories and novels) I have all the knowledge, but even I was led down by TW3 have the story handled them - not to mention that Eredin did have about 11 sentences in the whole game (even in TW1 he had far more)
Letho on the other hand had far more presence in the story his motivations were complex and intriguing.. and so had Gaunter O'Dimm in HoS expansion pack.. and really, you shouldn't had the knowledge of previous games of books.. and that's for me the major problem with TW3 (BTW I love TW3, but the loss of complexity of the story from TW2 was a major letdown, atleast for me that is)
I respect Kevin, I really do, but now in B&W he complains about the main antagonist to be weak but when he gave TW3 10/10 he didn't even mentioned Wild Hunt and mainly Eredin to be pretty shallow - and in fact Act 3 wasn't strong as a whole compared to the previous acts in the game..
But on the other hand, many people are complaining about the story in TW2, which in my opinion is one of the most complex, strongest stories in videogame history with one of the best "antagonists" in the form of Letho, so I'm still looking forward to play B&W and make my own opinion about the main story and the main antagonist in it
Most people play a DOOM game because of the singleplayer.. and in this new DOOM game the singleplayer is maybe the best in FPS games since the last Wolfenstein.. a clear 9/10 or better.. if someone is interested only in multiplayer, then it's a better 5/10..
@REDShadowG: So ? That makes Witcher games a GOT wannabe? Because what reasons ? Becasue there are politics in them? Because they are grimm ? Because they have mature themes? Because there is sex ? Because there is magic ? All of this stuff was already in the books and as I said, the first game came out in 2007, 3 years before the show so why would they be influenced by GoT, when they had all the stuff they needed in the Witcher lore (books) ?
