Cant wait for this, i loved how imersive FC2 was, the depth of play, the large area of map. The weapons layout and the fact you could start fires and lay IED's. If farcry 3 has bettered FC2 by only half then its going to be an immense game!
@cynjen CoD of duty is the same 5hit every year. People buy it because they know what to expect and because they do not have to learn too much that's new, all that changes is a few additional weapons, era and location......graphics engine, game play mechanics even weapon sounds and the whole structure of the game do not change! I stopped buying CoD after WaW (which in my opinion is the best CoD ever). I skipped MW2 and got Black ops free when i brought another game, still have not bothered with MW3 and will not bother with BO2 unless someone rents it and brings it round. CoD is a dying breed, soon the sheeple will wake up and see it for themselves.
Good! When details of this were first released at e3 last year i posted on gamespots comments page about the game for people to boycott this game, right down to video reveals and gameplay footage. My reasoning behind this was that if no body showed any interest in this pile of steaming horse manure then gear box would dump it asap.......Why? so we can get the BIA game we really want, ie Bakers and Hartsocks story. BIA HH gave us a teaser that the next game would be set during the Battle of the Bulge and leading up to the invasion of Germany. Thats the one we want Gearbox.....Not inglorious basterds the game, or from footage i've seen, Left4dead WWII!

@fin No no no, Give us back WWII, give us back Normandy (there were numerous different WWII theatres and weapons that exist that have not been covered by CoD yet).! CoD used to be good when it was based in fact and the maps were actual representations of a real battlefield! The best CoD of all time WaW was WWII based. I'd rather a WaW 2 than this tripe! any day of the week!!
I will not be buying this complete and utter twaddle! Same as i didnt MW2 & 3 (rented, but only because it was rent one get one free lol) and Black ops.....Last CoD game i brought (and still own) was the excellent World at War. Nothing will ever top this CoD. Funny how Ghost Recon Future soldier is influencing other titles.....and it has not even been released yet. I think the only Black ops featured in this new CoD is how they sneaked into Ubisofts studio to blatantly steal ideas from GR:FS.....and get away with it!
