Wow, that's so aberrant, I can't imagine that ever happening here. Nor do I know anybody who has had to do jury duty. I guess it really is just in America only. It seems in Canada that's something they'd ask if you want to do.

Yoshi_Hunter

You're either not Canadian or you're 9 years old. It works the same way in Canada. If you are of age then you are eligible for jury duty, you are randomly picked and you have to go. It makes perfect sense, it's not stupid, it's a good way to keep trials fair.

So just because I haven't had jury duty or memorized the rules means I'm either 9 or not Canadian? Ugh man, I feel depressingly horrible for your logic...

At the moment , I can watch it for free, so I don't know YouTube is only charging Americans to watch popular videos. But, if this catches on, then I agree that this WILL be the END of youtube.

Popular Youtube personalities that make their earning off youtube should start looking for new "jobs". For real... That's pathetic! Youtube is horrible. Poor wheezywaiter...

I don't understand jury duty. They make you do something for them for free? How can they trust random citizens to choose verdicts anyway, maybe they'll want to have some fun and choose the person that is obviously guilty. :Prubber-chicken

Exactly! That's what I was thinking. If someone didn't want to go to jury duty, and was not happy about being there, wouldn't it be inevitable to have some "jury duty trolls"? Trollin' for the lulz?

Jury Duty? Then why why did you sign up for it if you don't like it? Is that the way it works? I don't know, I'm Canadian.
