The first game I can think of that I never finished was Dino Crisis. Once I found out about having to stop the bleeding when you were hurt, I kinda lost interest.

Another one that I know I'll never finish was Star Ocean: Till the End of Time. My sister and I started that game at the same time, and she got 30+ hours into the game before they even left the first planet, and that killed all motivation for me. I also grew weary of the cooking crap.

I can't think of a third game... wrong. I just thought of it. Shenmue. I got to the point in the beginning where you first went into town and that was it. No action, no sense of knowing what to do, I just felt lost, so away it went and stayed.

I've been having a tough time renting games at the local Video place and was wondering if Gamefly would be worth it. I've checked out the site and it sounds intriguing, but I just want to see if any users would recommend the service or if it's a waste of time.

Any help will be appreciated.

I just find it really lame. If you host a Live game, you share the server (which would be your own console). If you download a game, it's already paid for on your console. But now you have to pay twice? That's like paying for two copies of a movie or a cd so two people can watch, listen to it at home.

Retarded.

I've had the 360 for about 4 months now, and I enjoy the service, but my wife is having a problem.

My system only has two profiles on it, my own, and the wife's. Her profile was originally not used to go online, and she didn't play much on it, aside from the Arcade games. At this point, she had free reign to anything that my profile would download when it came to arcade games, movies, etc. When she did want to play the arcade games online, she would use my profile. However, her urge to get her own achievement points kicked in, soshe signed her profile up for its one-month free trial of the Gold membership.

Now we have a problem. She is only allowed to play ONE arcade game (Mini-Golf), and the others all tell her that she has to pay to unlock the full versions. Is this a normal occurence? If this is standard procedure, isn't it pretty messed up to believe that 360 owners should have to pay TWICE for all of these services, including just being able to have a gold membership?

Anyway, if anyone knows if this is normal, let me know.

I've only had mine for 5 days, and mine started freezing after only 5 minutes of play.  It can't be overheat problems, cuz it's cold as hell in the room I have it in.

Oh well, I just have to take it back for a new one.  Eventually, I'll get one that works.

I find it difficult to understand why the machine has so many problems.  I've had three PS2s die on me.  The first 2 stopped working correctly after playing DVDs or the blue-colored discs.  The 3rd one just fried out, somehow.  I'm now on my 4th (and it's not a slimline) which worked perfectly for a while, but now it's having the same troubles with the blue discs.

What also bothers me, is that some game manufacturers released their games on these blue-crap discs, and now they have immense trouble in my machine, once again.  Why would they do this?  If it is known that blue discs do not read correctly, why would a company put their product on them, and why won't Sony fix the problem?  Does a slim PSTwo have any troubles on these, because if they do, I have no reason to buy one in the near future.

What happens if the PS3 has these same problems?  Is someone going to get their head on straight and actually WORK THROUGH these errors before the thing is released, or will we all have to suffer?  Here's an idea, how about a company getting it right the first time?  Nintendo hasn't had ANY problems, whatsoever, with the GC, so maybe they deserve a lot more credit in these "console wars" than anyone gives them.

Any tips on how to get the PS2 to read the blue-crappys??
