I crowdfunded this game a few years ago because I was blown away by the promise of the demo and I can't wait for it to get finished this year. If more crowdfunded games made playable demos available on consoles I would probably contribute to even more games.
I'm NOT hard of hearing and I use subtitles in virtually every game I play because I process information better when I can hear it and read it at the same time. Also, if audio can be skipped back and forth between speakers, I can go a lot faster reading it than listening to it. Glad they added this feature in and surprised it wasn't standard.
@pookeynoodle2019: There is a logical inconsistency in equating a transgender woman competing against a cisgendered woman (where one's testosterone levels could conceivably give someone an unfair advantage) with market demand for more women with computer science degrees. I am curious as to why more women with computer science degrees is a sign that the "worlds (sic) gone crazy."
@Fr0z1ndude: Based on your comment I would guess you are a very difficult person to dissuade from your strongly held opinions, but Lois Haibt, Grace Hopper, Jean Bartik, Margaret Hamilton, and many more women would disagree with you. I mean, the term "debug" was even coined by a woman.
@ledzeppdekk: Right, because concepts are what makes a video dull, not the execution of said concept. This video might not have been "dull" but its message was muddled by its execution.
This video COULD have been a tightly focused analysis of the pros and cons of making this game more immersive for those who are so inclined, but instead it was...trolling hardcore gamers? Self-effacing? I'm not really sure.
