In my opinion, its absolutely amazing. I can't speak for everyone but this is one of the best games I've played. Its thrilling, full of action, and has a great storyline. My two favorite things about it would be the villain, Vaas, and the vehicles you can use to drive around the island. Buy it, dont hesitate, you won't regret it!
So I recently bought Far Cry 3, and upon playing it I noticed that when I look at water I see very annoying flickering and strange patterns appear in front of me. I checked if there were any new updates that had been released, and found out that the update for 1.01 should have been automatically downloaded, including these changes: Improved game stability and performance. Fixed issues with flickering on specific water textures. Fixed small UI glitches related to different display resolutions. Weapon cache mission: Mission Zone and Mission Marker no longer stays on mini-map and on screen after mission completion. Crafting items are now auto selected when entering a new crafting category. Added sound when zooming in and out the camera with the mouse scroll button. It says that it fixed the "issue with flickering on specific water textures." I thought that for some reason my UPlay client didn't install it, so I manually downloaded it from the Far Cry 3 website. After installing it, I run the game only to see that no change has been made. Is there anyone else with this problem? Please help, it can sometimes ruin my experience with this great game. Thanks!
