Blizzard is easily one of the best, if not THE best developer in the world. One big reason why is because they are a bit conservative. The perfect core game mechanics, include some new twists, polish the game so it shines like the sun, and balance gameplay to the Nth degree. They don't often bring out new IPs, but when they do those IPs are incredibly good games. Warcraft... Diablo... Starcraft... World of Warcraft... you can't argue with that lineup. I'd rather Blizzard continued their path, improving on their stable of excellent games and only bringing new IPs to bear when the match the quality of their previous work. Why would we want them spewing out crap new IPs every other year and ruining the name they've carefully built? There is a reason why Blizzard is so successful, why would we want them to change?

In my experience Vista has been quite stable, quick, reliable, secure, and polished. Granted, I'm not a programmer, so I don't how you feel about it, but from a gamer/casual user point of view Vista is really nice. It looks great and has played all of my games with no errors. I have a mid level machine, so I use common sense and turn off the sidebar and other extras when I play games, etc. My wife likes all the little gadgets and the fact that she doesn't have to constantly call me in to look at error messages. Because of my experience I find it odd that so many of you seem to hate Vista so much, it's been nothing but great for me. :)
