As another poster said, your best bet is to ask them to check their inventory. I work at GameStop (which own EB now), if they gave you an empty case, their inventory will show a surplus. Of course, if the actual employee stole it, this won't do any good, since it is no longer in the store.

I work at gamespot and most of the issues we have heard about at our store have been about either the guitar (strum button) or the piece of $%^#% usb hub that comes with rock band. I have not personally talked to anyone who has had problems with the drum kit, although I'm sure there have been a few. I haven't had any problems with mine, but the drums are so sensitive that you don't have to hit them hard, and I don't (I also have a 3 month old daughter at home which makes this necessary).

Just FYI, do not use the intercooler cooling fans, they will void your warranty.

what the above poster said. Plug in (or turn on if wireless) a 360 controller and press A. This will be the controller used to interface with rockband when not in a song.

There is really a pretty simple explanation for this. Developers have a year + more experience working on the 360 since it came out earlier. As developers get more experience working with the PS3 hardware you will see the gap close.

[QUOTE="Z-Bombz"]Ive seen the trailers and gameplay videos...doesnt really look that amazing...what really makes this game so good looking? looks like just another rpgRojAvon

There is always room for "another RPG" as long as it's well done. Frankly, really good RPG's are few and far between right now and besides that it's nice to have an RPG that doesn't involve androgynous big eyed children searching for a magic McGuffin along side of their cutezy pets, the usual obnoxious tough guy character, the clumsy fat kid and the girl love interest to round out the group.

LOL, Amen to that.

Being a father myself, I agree with the above posters that this game will most likely be frustratingly difficult for a 10 year old. I'm about half way through the game, and while the gameplay is not particulary difficult, the environmental puzzles and backtracking required (not to mention the ability to remember everywhere you've been) may be too much. The games story takes place across many different worlds, often times requiring the player to go back and forth as new abilities are unlocked. The suggestion that you start with prime 1 was a good one.

I did about two weeks ago. I had food poisoning and had just got a 360. Anyway, it was late at night and I was so nauseus I wanted to kill myself. To distract myself I played the version of hexic that comes with the 360. I dozed off after an hour or so for about twenty minutes.
