I love how everyone says Vista makes your games run slower, despite the fact that the only game I have gotten better performance in on XP was Crysis, and even at that, all I have to do to get the same performance on Vista that I had on XP is go to Games and... right click Crysis and click on Run in DX9. I also love how people also say that Vista has so many bugs and that it never works, because I honestly don't have any problems except the occasional incompatability with an old game such as Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. I hope Windows 7 is good. I would install the beta but I am not a fan of betas.
To be honest, I think Gears of War looks better because it captures the grittier side of war, not like Gears of War 2's almost comic book style visuals. The lighting and particles in Gears 2 are better than in Gears 1 (in my opinion), but I think that Gears 1 had better textures and the weather also made you look like a real soldier, instead of the bright, cheery, sunny days in Gears 2. You (practically) look like a sunshine soldier in Gears 2 without all the weather.
And what about the people who can't fork out 4 or 6 f***ing hundred dollars nVidia? And what about the people who can't afford an SLI computer? Start doing something for the common person.
for god's sake, why can't they make an affordable graphics card that can run rhese games on high. Every new video card that moes aout is either $300-$1100!!! WHO PAYS $1100 FOR A FREAKIN VIDEO CARD!!!!!
this game has the best graphics ive ever seen. Oh, and for you XP fanatics saying"DX10 doesn't do S***!" Just wait until a month or two until a game is announced and has DX10 graphics that blow DX9 out of the water.
