I find it absolute bullshit that Half the gaming community is female. Seriously?? Are we counting the Facebook games now?? I mean, go to any forum or gaming site, you'll hardly find women. Better yet, lets check the comment section here. Out of 20 comments 1 would be from a female. Go to Facebook page of Gamespot, only 2-3 % of likes/comments from women. So seriously, stop using that stats to tell gaming industry that they need to start catering to women because they make up half the demographic now, cuz they dont.

Also, if sexism in gaming industry is really whats stopping women, why dont we ever see a woman indie developer?? Look at the indie developers, who are mostly self employed people with a passion for video games. Why dont we see a female version of Notch?
