@indigoj: Well Sony is publishing it, It's now there games, so don't think they're exactly losing out.

@dlCHIEF58: I'm a little closer to base than you sir. Activision did not renew their contract for their license to Spiderman - which expired in 2014 (you should know this). If you look at the last frame in the trailer, it says: Marvel, Sony Interactive Entertainment and developed by Insomniac. Nothing about Activision. SIE wouldn't be in the billing block if it wasn't the publisher would it? Otherwise what does Sony Interactive Entertainment have to do with the game since they handle all production and sales for Playstation?

My reply was also to tell the guy on top that Insomniac would not make more money if the game was Multiplatform because they are just the developer, not the distributor - which is correct.

@kyelo: No insomniac won't. Insomniac are only the developers and are only being paid to develop the game, they are not the distributors. Sony owns the license to Spider-man (purchased it from Marvel) and they are the Distributors - they can choose to distribute on other platforms but they obviously want their own userbase to enjoy it. Benefits.

Not even released a proper title yet on PS4/Xbox1 and talking about next generation already... GTAV doesn't count and Mafia 3 isn't out yet.

@pspearman: GT6 fell short as well because it came out just as the ps4 came out. If they had shipped it for both consoles they would have gotten those numbers up. Big reason why I never purchased GT6. Big Gran Turismo fan but Sold my ps3 for ps4 and couldn't get the game. Their loss but i'm getting GT Sport now, been waiting a while (Understatement)

What are those sales figures for Tomb raider on Xbox?... That's what happens when you cut off a userbase of more than 20-30 million on the PS4. Massive sales figures to miss out on, can't do that if you want to make money. Bet you Square Enix can't wait to announce Tomb Raider on PS4 at E3 this year.

Either way, Uncharted is magnificent and on another level right now to Tomb Raider - completely different games. TR is a great game in its own right, but was silly for Microsoft to use/market Tomb Raider as competition for Uncharted. So disappointed at how they messed Lara around - deserved better.

Can't wait! Been waiting a long time for proper racer on PS4! Held off on Project cars because I wanted to build my own garage and work on my cars and earn my vehicles moving up classes, didn't bother with NFS as its just arcade nonsense - No comment on Driveclub... This is it! GT Sport!

Recognize when someone does something great, Sony is in a good moment - not their fault Microsoft aren't doing anything praise worthy. MS bought exclusive rights deal for Tomb Raider to compete with Sony's Uncharted, and in the end, Sony delayed Uncharted to make sure it's the great game it is today.
