Yep, this review is spot on. The campaign is surprisingly poorly designed and the rift mechanic is horrible.. Just sitting around waiting for rifts to open, that you don't want to access in the first place, is so stupid.. This feels rushed and I can't help feeling that they will probably abandon this game soon.

One of the worst "reviews" I have read in a while. IGN class on this one.. The writer says it is EA but seems to totally ignore that fact for the rest of the review. And complaining that you don't like characters.. I mean that's highly subjective and has no place in a review. It's like giving the Avengers movie a bad review because you don't like the colour of Ironman's suit. Honestly this feels more like complaining for the sake of complaining.

Also I don't give much for the argument that buyers "deserve" to know what they are buying. Larian has been VERY open with the contents of this game.

Well I was excited until I read this:

"The series looks to be based on the eight-part novel series written by Andrzej Sapkowski, instead of the games."

You can't get them all right, Netflix.
