Well if you like hack and slash games play diablo 2 it may be old but it is still a classic not good looking maybe but it will be worth it...

BG series are nothing but CLASSIC you MUST play them if you like rpg games BG series are awesome :D

I have MSI nx8800 gts OC edition video card along with 600w coolermaster psu I have E6750 core duo and an AOPEN case with only one fan...

If I overclock the vid card can it sustain wihtout additional cooling equipment or will it just burn ????

They are brilliant games worth playing but if you really like D&D rpg's try Baldur's Gate it makes nwn look like pacman :D

I will just say Minsc and Boo, only these two is more than enough to try Baldur's Gate 2 and the expansion, but to feel the story play it from the beggining Baldur's Gate 1 they are pretty old games but they are nothing but classic :D

If you want a great rpg play Baldur's Gate series if you want a good rpg play Icewind Dale series if you want an awesome rpg play fallout series if you want a thrilling rpg play Vampire the Masquerade series (Play vtm redemption and feel akin to Christof Ramuld, oh man he almost made me cry hehehe) if you want a good action turn based rpg play the Jagged Alliance series and unfinished bussiness is awesome (I just love Monica "Buns"and Shadow hehe) Bioshock maybe a good recommendation, if you like sports pes would be awesome or FM series (If you are into soccer) or try Sid Meier's anything :) pirates, civ series colonization and stuff...

Vampire Bloodlines is great...

Baldur's Gate series is awesome even if you dont like micro management the dialogs are totally awesome it is not a game it is like a book :)

Icewind Dale series...

Maybe Dungeon Siege... If you liked Diablo...

Well I totally agree about the thief series but I think that the best of the thief series is thief the metal age... Especially the underwater caves lvl and the mansion lvl (you steal masks before the auction) really scared the s..t out of me :D so if you are into graphics stay away from the thief series (btw thief III is way too easy for hardcore thief players I beat the game in hardest difficulty) but if you want a good game with incredible gaming xperience play thief...

Oh btw thief II has an expansion which you play as a female thief and it is also incredible I recommend it too also the thief circle offers a lot of new maps for thief II so you might want to take a look there

I install it and when I run the game it crashes to desktop and an error reads as " C++ error" or something...

Well what exactly r u looking for?? An assassin-ish game or a sneaking and backstabbing game???? Cause hitman and thief are really different games in hitman you can shoot your way through but in thief you cant take down two guards at the same time (Well at least I cant hehe) so the aim of the game is really different, Kane & Lynch is a totally different game as far as I can see it is an action shooter so if you want to assassinate in the loudest way possible you can play K&L :)

But if you want a sneaking game SC series would be great as well as the Thief series and maybe I can recommend VtM Bloodlines play it with sneaking abilities...
