This article just goes to show how pointless (geddit?) most achievments are. 80 points just for completeing a level? 80 points just for playing the sodding game as was originally intended? 80 points for deliberately playing all the way through a mediocre movie-license cash-in? You must be so proud, for you really are a Gaming God.

GameSpot must be the last place on this Earth to give Half-Life an award like this. I'm sure it was picking up GOTY and Greatest Game Ever etc. on an annual basis for years in just about every other corner of Games Journalism. Don't get me wrong. It deserves it. All of it. Even when it's 9 years too late.
