Not that I would ever go to one of these conventions, but as people that pay for these games, these things should be open to the public/fans as well.

I think it's a real slap in the face to just hold stuff like this for the press, but gamers are ok with it I guess, I for one though don't like it,

A Story has to be in place, but you don't need a "Great" story to have a great game, I play BF3 and BF2 and other games like that, you got succesful MMO's (Old Republic whch I'm playing), even the new Diablo III game isn't that great of a story, but it's still fun, so I'll have to disagree.

Sure it has more depth than Jedi, but this is a game. Why take away your best selling point to the masses to become, what it looks like "another shooter"? Why take away the one thing that relates to ALL the fans? What are they replacing it with? All I see is a Blaster, and since you're a bounty hunter, I guess your going to sneak around and stuff... that's better than controlling the force? I don't think so. and your far from being right, as anyone here is, there is no right or wrong, you started this discussion with me remember?

Anyways, let's see how they differentiate itself from the rest of the shooter games out there, this stage demo hasn't done anything but look good graphics wise.

I don't play video games for a story really, that's what good novels are for. I play video games to be entertained. Stories in video games are very minor like graphics, it's all about the gameplay and is it fun. (Stage demo looks like a ripoff of GOW) Taking away the most interesting and entertaining thing about Star Wars was a foolish move. Don't try to make excuses, and no it's not like the fire flower example for Mario, because Mario gets new and entertaining powers all the time. So if this game is going to take away Jedi, they better have something better or just as good to replace it.

You're right, I'm not a Hardcore fan, that's why this game won't mean anything for a normal gamer like myself, because I have seen everything this game does, done better. It might be bit too early to judge, but if this stage demo was supposed to draw me in, it failed.

So if you get that, I'll leave you and the rest of the SW fanboys alone. lol

No I don't like "that" kind of hardcore, I would rather just have the difficulty up then to lose my character.

Doing everything over again sucks. Sorry, but poor article spoken by an elitist and only people that agree with you are people exactly like you. I speak for the normal gamers that game and also have a social life. There are other ways to implement risks vs rewards without losing your character.

Looks good, I'm not a big fan of COD, but this trailer has me interested for now. I don't think they'll do any big changes on the multiplayer, but will see.
