NOTE: This is only if your trophies don't pop up and register when you load your game/save data. My trophies didn't pop up no matter how many times I loaded the game/Sync'ed my trophies.

Let me keep this short because I know all of you want your trophies. This may or may not work for you, it depends on how your games saves information and where the Trophy is looking to activate itself.

Last night, I was disconnected like everyone else. I thought it was nothing and continued to finish my HARD trials for Street Fighter IV. Well, I finished them but no trophies. I then tried to sync (no luck, I'm not connected) and many other methods only to find out that PSN is down for my 60GB and many others. One of those methods was to turn my PS3 off and load up my Street Fighter IV game, which in turn caused my trophies to disappear for that game. My only assumption is the trophies were create and achieved way after the 12/31/9999 date my PS3 was changed too.

I waited patiently, and tonight everything was back on. Well, this is what I did to get my trophies to show up. I tried all of Sony lame (Sync with server, Deactivate/Reactive PS3/Sync/Sync/Sync/Sync/get my point?), none of it worked.

This is WHAT I DID:

Step 1:
Turn on PS3 and update my date through the internet

Step 2:
My trophies still don't show for SFIV since they disappeared even after several syncs! So, I put my game in which then added SFIV trophy pack to my Trophy Collection but at 0%

Step 3:
Re-Sync, BOOM my 91% which is what I was at before the disconnect is back on my list. Still no 100% though since I acheived it after the disconnect.

Step 4:
I called Sony at this point and went through so much crap and was put on hold. At this point something POPPED in my head. I'm just going to go and complete a Arcade match to see if my save data being updated will re-register them. It registered 2 of the 4 trophies I needed for my PLAT which were the All Icons/All Titles.

Step 5:
I then realized, that I needed to somehow make a change to the save file where the trophy was looking for to register. The last two trophies were "Complete HARD Trials/Complete Challenge Mode", so I went back into my HARD trials and completed a hard trial.

Step 6:
BLING, BLING, BLING(Platinum), they re-registered. Since the Arcade Mode does NOT affect the Challenge Mode, yet it does affect your TITLE/ICON collection, I had to complete a challenge in the HARD trials for the trophies to activate.

MY ADVICE!!!
Do something that you think will somehow save information to the same location of the trophy you are trying to get to have it activate.

Example:
Get 10,000 Gold in some game

Resolution:
Sell some stuff and save your game, I would think it would register the trophy at this point.

This worked for me, and I truly hope it works for you my fellow trophy hunters...

A. My Street Fighter IV trophies disappeared

B. My 100% for finished the hard trials in Street Fighter IV trophies didn't show up

C. My PS3's date is set to 12/31/1999, I can only assume this has something to do with the date today and something to do with the LEAP year

D. NOBODY hacked sony, this is a screw up that has happen 3 years in a row. They have actually had a similiar issue happen and are in the process of being SUED right now for it:

You people would not want to believe what happened to me. PSN signed (I just thought it was a typical logout) and I just finished up my HARD TRIALS for SFIV. NO TROPHIES HAVE POPPED UP AND I AM FREAKING OUT! I just managed to finished one of the HARDEST games to get a platinum for and this SIGNOUT crap preventing my 100%. Please, someone tell me my trophies will popup when this issue is resolved... PLEASE!!!
