@Double_Wide They said that you will be able to play games from PSX all the way through to PS4. Through the cloud system. I don't think the physical copies will run on the PS4 itself. They never really confirmed whether or not your old discs would work, they did say that cloud-based games will though.

@Nibinear That was my reaction at first too. But the way it can be used is quite interesting. Just performed something awesome in game, which probably couldn't be pulled off ever again? Hit share, it's recorded your game footage, select fragment and share with your mates.

A friend having trouble with a segment of the game, show them how it's done by sharing your footage of that particular segment.

@toddx77 They are very much more involved with the community this time round. During the alpha the devs were actively pouring over the forums and responding to feedback left, right and centre. It made for a much more pleasant testing experience, knowing that your feedback was actually being taken into account. As opposed to the 2010 release, that was like talking to a brick wall.

So the game is available as preinstalled data in the Fire Emblem 3ds Bundle that will be released in early Feb. But for those of us who already have a 3ds (XL), we'll have to wait until April to buy the game? I guess it'll push some extra 3ds sales.. but it seems a little odd.

It seems that the people parading about shouting "Video games kill people!" have themselves never played a video game before in their life. The video game reps should propose to have the naysayers sit down and play one of these video games. Perhaps if they actually played these games, they can form their own opinions and not just spew out nonsense that the witch-hunt mob is chanting. They may actually realize that video games are simply a form of entertainment, much like television, movies, books etc. Speaking of which, television was to blame for violence 20 or so years ago. It'll never be gun laws at fault for these people.

What about the Pokémon cries? Are they still going to be 8bit glitch noises?

One of the brilliant things about GW2's Cash Shop, is that you don't actually have to spend any cash to purchase things from it. The Cash Shop uses Gems as a currency. Gems can be bought with real money OR bough from other players for in game gold through a simple trading interface. For example; 1 gold for 10 gems. In game prices for gems will rise and fall of course, so there's even a chance for in game profit if you play your cards right.
