Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn beta scheduled for late February
First phase to be limited to areas around in-game nation Gridania, as well as feature level 30 instanced dungeon with a boss battle.
Square Enix has announced that the beta for the PC version of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will start on February 25.
The beta, dubbed as phase one, will feature a Full Active Time Events system. These quick events will take place in non-instanced areas and can happen to random to players as long as they are within proximity. Players aren’t required to party up to experience these encounters.
The phase one beta will be limited to areas around the Gridania nation. Players can also expect to check out an instanced dungeon, complete with a boss battle, that only allow players who are at level 30.
