You guys are not reading this correctly. It is not console war. For example, I'm not at E3, and I can see Sony focusing heavily on PSVIta and is not pushing Move, this time. And even though Nintendo announced Wii U, very little was shown, and new 3DS contents exceeded new Wii titles, etc, etc.

To those who says social gaming is targeted at casual gamers or give facebook users some bite sized fun while waiting for reply, I say, wrong. Wii's success is based on fun factor. The *hardware* sells, but crappy third party *games* still sunk. Social gaming aren't fun, and aren't aimed for bite-sized entertainment either. But let's imagine this scenario: Nintendo thinks they can do better, and put out a fun, free Mario Bros. for facebook. Aside from ads on screen, you can keep progressing the worlds, but if you stop playing for a while, you get setback to worlds you have already beaten; and to gain extra powerups to beat higher worlds, you have to pay. What are you going to think? Scam. I have seen those game mechanics. It is a mechanic designed for the psych of addiction. Players fear their hours of clicking would be lost, and would put in more hours. I have seen friends who claim they have no time to waste for video games, yet, spent more time clicking away in ONE facebook game than I have playing various games on my PS3. I can turn off my PS3 for months during ski-season, they have to click away at breafast, at work, before sleep, etc. That's not bite-sized, that's addiction, and for something that's isn't even fun.

Those aren't games. Those are scams. Zero timing, zero reflex, zero challenge, purely mindless, endless clicking. And once your stop, all your previous game progress and efforts goes down the drain. It's a scam to keep people going back to sell ads and what not.

Those aren't games. Those are just wallpaper where you can do mouse clicks.
