@frank_castle: the game has shiped 5 million copies in less then 24h. its set to become the most succesfull ff ever.
ff7 sold 10 million in total just now, with all the ps3 and vita and ps4 releases. and the 1.1 mil made on steam, in what. 20 years? initially it sold 7 mil in the first year. ff15 is already at half that in 24 hours. numbers higher then SE hoped for. surpased the 4 milion made with the witcher 3 on day 1 wich is now at 10 milion aswell. at this rate ff15 will reach its optimistic developer sales mark. another statistic is ff13 wich took 5 months to reach the 5 mil mark and 1 mil on day 1. and that game did not have as much contreversy as this one before release GTAV tough was a beast. 12 million units on day 1. no other game comes close to that. uncharted 4 sold 2.7 in the first week so as you can see, alot of people like this game.
@killerious: that is your opinion. but that´s just what it is. a opinion based on no experience. until the game is actually played you cannot assume you are right nor wrong. for example some of the things you have said are already wrong. "think about how stupid the design of the game is" that is very personal and cannot reflect on the truth. personally i like the design, but that´s not for me to decide. its for the masses and industry professions. and so far in reviews the score is usually 8+ score. "Large maps, lots of empty space with nothing to do in it" incorrect. large maps yes, nothing to do on it wrong. you can find quests. harvest places. treasures, hidden dungeons, side stores. etc. and that is not a opinion, its a fact. but i can give you a example of a game with a large map with nothing in it. skyrim. and we all know how popular that turned out to be, the towns were alive but betwen them there was nothing but monsters. you are assuming too much from gamer´s you have never met. and i could easily say that you seek attention from posting negativly on page of something you do not like. but i do not know you. and for your "developer didn't know which direction to go and they said.." that IS literaly ff15 where the main concept was scraped and remade! why do you think it took 10 years?!
@Darkhol0w: yeah but 50 mins dosnt make it very legendary either. for something that size i hoped for like a 5 hour fight at least. with like saving points . and the guy isnt even maxed yet. imagine if he was lv 100.... would be done in 20 mins
@melante: sadly it was.... my game hasnt arived yet and im trying to avoid spoilers but i had to see the legendary 72 hour boss fight.....i was disapointed. i didnt want 72 hours, but i dont want 50 mins either....like where the hell did they get their info? from a lv1 noctis figthing it? or was it just a lie to hype people.
