@quigonzel @MaLazer I rarely get involved in these conversations but I think it should be known that the writer of this particular article is not saying that. A writers insertion in any quotation is dictated with brackets never parentheses. eg: "I ran far [but] came back swiftly"
@pozium @kswhite609 To be completely honest, a good CEO doesn't need to know the ins and outs of the product. A good CEO needs to recognize when he doesn't and be willing to base his expectations off of what high level engineers specify. CEO's are hired for the business sense and ability to direct employees in a productive path. It's nice when they do know the product it makes for more sensible deadlines; however it's not a MUST.
@pozium A CEO of an electronics company usually knows knowing about electronics. I've worked in the industry for a few years, graduated from college and have ran into that exact same circumstance. Luckily nowadays my boss actually knows what SHE is talking about. Generally though, they don't, sadly.
