ummm jack of spades, sorry to burst your bubble or something but the xbox 360 does have better graphics than the ps3, it has a better graphics card than the ps3 because it is unified. but the ps3 does have better processors, so that mean better physics ( not that ive seen the amazing physics in any gams so far)

Good news guys, i read sum where that the beta has only temporary terrain graphics and is not using alot of features they will have in the real gam, such as hdr lighting and stuff, im not sure if parralex mapping is used in the beta but it will def be used in real game.

omfg. Some of you are stupid if you think the graphics are the same. Mouse over the needler gun and see what the new one looks like in halo 3. cant you see that the gun is all shiny, with added detail and sharper edges that look more realistic? the one from halo 2 even has no shadow. If the graphs were like gears i think it would kinda ruin it. the style of halo graphics are very nice and suit the gameplay, its the same 'style' as halo 2 but the graphics have very very much improved! And play the beta guys, for it is some amazing stuff... I played it at a friends house for about an hour, went home, and realised i had a growing urge to play it again... I tried everything.. played halo 2, played gears, but they could not match up to the fun of owning 3 guys in the face with your assault rifle, melee attacks and plasma grenades in true 720p resolution!.. it feels so good! Looking at these pics will make you think the graphics arnt that good. But if you start playing it you will 'understand the graphics' and realise they suit the game. And btw if they make the graphics like gow it would spoil halo and the gameplay speed would drop significantly, and think about it, how slow is gears, the framerates go very low sumtimes, and your not driving vehicles at 100mph and launching your self off of man cannons, with big, amazingly thought of maps filled with 16 players! sniping each other from oppsite sides of the arena! the gameplay would crash your xbox!
