As others have suggested, you may want to think about buying The Orange Box, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Warhawk, Burnout: Paradise, and possibly Heavenly Sword. Out of those, I would suggest Uncharted and Burnout above the rest. The Orange Box, though amazingly fun, is far superior on the PC. Uncharted has a fantastic storyline, amazing graphics, and a superior adventure setting. Another game you may want to look at is Armored Core 4, if you like robot games, of course.

Hopefully you find a game you truly enjoy.

a kids system. Its marketed towards adults. Its the violent GTA games that are infact marketed towards kids and teenagers. Get your facts straight.

23999999 gamers disagree with you.

rgame1

There are also many gamers who agree with him.

I regret buying guitar hero 3, so thus for we can conclude that it sucks. now that's sicenceblingchu55

I do not believe we said that TC's opinion was a fact which should be accepted by all people who play video games.

Loving and hating a system is based completely on opinions, not facts. Personally, I love the Ps3 for many reasons, but that does not make the Ps3 the top system simply because I said so. TC, myself, and other gamers do not enjoy the Wii due to the lack of appealing games, making the system itself hold no value to us.

I have all 3 systems, and the Wii is the one I regret the most. I never touch the damned thing, even when I have 2 other friends over when we can play Brawl. I have No More Heroes (where I also have Devil May Cry 4 for Ps3, so that completely voids the hack and slash appeal), Brawl (same as Melee, but with more levels and characters), RE4(had on GC), and Zelda (also had on GC). I haven't played Galaxy yet, but I've only heard acceptible reviews from my peers.

To whoever made the snive comment of saying "Movie Gear Solid", you may believe simple, quick play games are superior. I believe that if you want to experience that type of gameplay, go to a flash website and play a few of the games there for the exact same experience while saving quite a bit of money.

I agree with TC to quite an extent on his views of the lack of high quality games on the Wii. Simply, quick burst games do not appeal to me in any way. I want to be sucked into the game I'm playing, not complete menial tasks to quence my simple need for entertainment.

Thank you wiljas

After reading through the responses in this thread, I have determined one thing: half of you don't read posts before yours, and 360 fanboys will defend their system to the death with only slight experience in what they are discussing.

I have agreed with many of you who said the original picture is outdated and biased, but still many have restated exactly what had been said before. Some have provided valid points against the Ps3, but then cannot support what they have claimed with any valid reason. I was hoping, ignorantly it seems, that there would be a legitimate point brought up on both sides, but the only responses I have seen so far are "outdated, biased, fanboy, only games ported to PC are good, u suck".

And for others, who will not read this response I presume, I did not create the picture which was originally shown.

With your statement, you are insinuating that only great games are on both platforms and PC. I would beg to differ on many respects. If, in fact, that is not your point, then restate your statement to exempt those games that are, indeed, lackluster, which are released on both PC and platforms.

when it list game like Ninja Gaiden and Monster Hunter as Ps3 exclusives, Also there are so many games that have not even been announce listed for PS3. This list is one of the ultimate fanboy creation.BosoxJoe5

Ninja Gaiden: Sigma is a Ps3 exclusive. I do agree that this picture has slightly outdated, and sometimes decieving, information. Nevertheless, the 360 exclusives list is rather short, even when you do not remove Bioshock, Gears of War, Condemned, Alan Wake, Huxley, Guitar Hero 2, GRAW, and LORT: BFME2 off the list for also being on PC or Ps2.

It speaks volumes for the quality of a game when a developer decides to bring a game to the PC after it has already been on a gaming console for an extended period of time. I'm actually very proud of the 360 exclusives that have gone over to the PC. Everyone should be able to enjoy such gaming experiences. Too bad, the PS3 doesn't offer games of such substantial quality that developers desire to not only improve the game, but make it accessible to more gamers.

PS3 gamers brag about their exclusives, but if they are truly "excellent" games, then why aren't games like Resistance: Fall of Man or Uncharted being ported to PC? Why, you ask? Because all the PS3 exclusive are derivative dribble and lackluster...that's why. The day that games like MGS4 and GT5 get ported to PC is the day that I will consider those games and the PS3 worthy.

The same can be said for PC games that have been ported over to consoles. The majority of them simply reek quality.

You have obviously not played PS3 games, or are too ignorant to understand some marketing decisons.

And to all readers, do not try to bash something, such as the Ps3, unless you have personal testimony to present.

Lair isn't as terrible of a game that everyone says, but it is definitely a rental game, as with Uncharted.

Being an online freak, I would go with Warhawk, but Burnout Paradise is also great. The decision between those two games are up to you, since I feel they are equally great. It depends on whether you enjoy a Battlefield type of game or a race/crashing type of game. I'm not terribly into racing games, but I have been a fan of the Burnout series since Burnout3.

A main reason that some games look better on the 360 is that developers have had more time to work with the tools to develop 360 games, and Ps3 format games are slightly harder to create the same effects with. Therefore, the fault is on the developers being sligthly too lazy to equalize the effects on both platforms.

Another reason for some negativity towards Ps3 games from EA is that Peter Moore, who used to be vice president of Microsoft Entertainment, is now working for EA, and his replacement, Don Mattrick, used to be President of EA.
