@nick_e: that demo was terrible and should probably have never been released.

@Terrorantula: they are making a jrpg and trying to appeal to western audiences first and foremost, hopefully this focus doesnt ruin the game.

@Flyin3lvl: because in those other games you atleast had places to walk around and look at, 13 was just an extremely narrow straight path.

@spaced92: in final fantasy 13 you walked down a narrow path from one battle to the next most of the game, it may as well have been just the battles without the walking.

144fps cap is fine I think.

@supfools: In synthetic benchmarks the 6300fx can look pretty good, but in real world use we all know the story.

a 960 is pretty surprising for recommended (its not maxing games these days), the cpu recommendations are way off though. a 4460 destroys a fx-6300 and probably will get 60 fps easily in this game, but I suppose they probably didn't test much of anything older on the intel side and maybe dual core chips just don't cut it. Just for perspective, and intel 4460 beats even the best amd cpu in pretty much any game and is probably within a few fps of the 3770 for that matter.

@chipchat: especially when very few games actually have an even decent story.

@ashyankee: PC sales for games like this are still pretty high, but multiplatform is obviously the best way to go.

If console went away games might lose some budget, but they would survive just fine.
