As always it’s a business decision. SC is mainly single player focused therefore its harder to shift copies compared to multiplayer games where all your friends also buy a copy.

For a new SC to be highly profitable it needs a massive investment to move in a new direction, the same funds could be used for the Division 3 a tried and tested model that is almost guaranteed to shift copies.

I just watched this, it’s clearly a 3/10 film.

I am not sure why GS thinks this is a 9, was it the mediocre acting, the hair thin plot, the average special effects, the rehashed music from the original, or was it that Scorpion took English lessons in hell.

Also in the film, the baddies speak Chinese, the goodies speak Japanese and everyone speaks English (after Scorpion took lessons in hell).

Not to forget, Lui Kang ditches his outfit and tries on Ryu cosplay towards the end of the film.

9/10 is a Masterpiece, it’s Godfather, Fighclub, Alien, Aliens, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon realm of film making; MK is clearly not any of those.

I heard Tencent is going to buy them out. They will change James Bond to James Wong and his code name is 008.

However Boris Johnson is killing the deal on the grounds of “national security.”

I think he means the Hong Kong horror film, The Eye directed by the Pang Brothers and starring Angelica Lee a well known HK actress.
