@Mogan: Exactly "an easier chance at getting gear" i.e. the way you progress in a looter. You get the best gear you can, you do the hardest content hoping for other gear you need, repeat. Nightfall offers special rewards and guaranteed good gear. Nightfall is necessary. Plus it was a fun activity that they're turning into a shitty activity.

@SerOlmy: Exactly. I felt like I was burned on Destiny 1 but I saw the game it could be so I kept an open mind when they announced Destiny 2, but almost every announcement we've gotten has made me less and less interested. Sorry, Bungie, I tried to give you a chance but apparently you don't want to improve the game you just want to make it worse.

@Mogan: Cool idea, it's not like Nightfall strikes are a major means of progression in Destiny or anything.

Timed missions in a game full of bullet sponges? Great idea, Bungie *rolls eyes*. We also cant change our loadouts? Yes! When I think fun I definitely think less freedom in gameplay (which you guys are nailing by the way with all the movement, ability timer, loadout, ammo, and now time restrictions).
